Pool Party

My daughter celebrated her 12th bday this past weekend with a slumber/pool party. As my "new" camera is out of commission I dug out my old Nikon D40 for the weekend. I took a lot of shots, but this was the best one I was able to capture where most of it was in focus.  I tried to freeze the girls in the air, but most of the time the pictures were blurry. The D40 does not have a wide ISO range, so this was at 800, no flash, 18-270 mm lens, f/4.5, and exposure time 1/40.  I did not have my tri-pod so I think that would have helped to make a difference.
